I am a graduate from Cardiff University, obtaining a bachelors in Business Management (Marketing). Since graduation, I’ve been pretty involved in web and marketing, bringing my online marketing experience over the three year mark. One of the reasons that I got into online is because a school friend of mine set up a web hosting company who I did a bit of work for – check out Paragon Internet Group.
I joined Kaplan International Colleges as an online marketing intern in November 2010 and began working for the SEO Manager, learning the in’s and out’s of SEO. After 3 months, I became full time and started to work in content and analytics reporting in to Phil. Just over a year ago I became more specialist as a web analyst at another business unit in Kaplan.
I’m currnetly the Group Web Analyst at Hiscox, so I’m currently getting stuck into eCommerce as well as learning a few new analytics tools and IT processes.
I have over 1.5 years experience specifically in Web Analytics and A/B testing and have obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification, as well as the the Google Adwords Qualification in reporting and analysis. I’m also an experienced user of Adobe Test & Target- the A/B MVT testing tool, and enjoy learning new web analytics tools and how to maximise their benefit.
Apart from co-owning this blog with Phil, I also own my own affiliate review website – Top Dating Sites. I built and manage this in my spare time which is an ongoing challenge, but have started to generate some ROI.
